human-environment collective
The human-environment collective is a group of scholars and students led by Dr. Heidi Hausermann in the School for Environment & Sustainability at the University of Michigan. We integrate theories and methods from feminist geography, political ecology, land-change science, and public health to examine human-environment interactions. While we have a strong focus on land-use transformation, environmental justice, and disease dynamics, collective members study topics ranging from wellbeing economies and queer nightlife to jaguar habitat.
